The IPMO Code of Professional Practice (\u201cthe Code\u201d) sets out the ethical, legal, and professional obligations of IPMO Mediators.<\/p>\n
DEFINITIONS<\/p>\n
For the purposes of this Code, Mediation is defined in accordance with section 2 (1)(o) of the Mediation Act 2017; as a confidential, facilitative and voluntary process in which parties to a dispute, with the assistance of a mediator\/s, attempt to reach a mutually acceptable agreement to resolve the dispute.<\/p>\n
